Kids Card and Layout Challenges

As part of the Scrap With V "Colours of the Rainbow" cybercrop, there were 2 challenges exclusively for the junior scrappers.

KylieJ posted a challenge for the kids to create a layout using photo/photos of them with a friend or 2, doing something outside. Also to put a rainbow on their layout if possible.

Sine issued a challenge for the kids to create a Mothers Day card and to use all the colours of the rainbow.

Excited.......

I entered the Blind Challenge at A2Z Challenge blog last month. We were given step by step instructions. And how exciting!!!! I was lucky enough to be one of the random prize winners along with the lovely Kylie Howland. This is the layout I created for this challenge.

Colourful Fun

Wow!!! Talk about fun and colourful. The SWV cybercrop is on this week end with the challenges open for a week. The challenges are awesome. I have completed them all except for the DT challenge which I am working on next. My children will do the Kids Challenges during the week.

You have a whole week to do these challenges, so head on over to Scrap With V and start scrapping !!!!!



Liz's challenge is "The Rainbow"



"I want to see the word colour in the title.and......I want to see these things on your page.



1 indigo (purple) item


2 violet (pink) items


3 green items


4 blue items


5 orange items


6 yellow items


7 red items



Ok so I have changed the order a little to make it a little nicer!The items can be anything from pieces of ribbon, brads, buttons, paper, stamps, bling,etc....You can include other colours too.There must be at least the number that I have given.For example. You can use 1 piece of purple cardstock or use purple cardstock and some red brads.You can put 7 red brads on your page or more if you like. You can use 2 pieces of pink lace or more pink items."

So here we go.............................It is a recipe challenge. For those who are new to this sort of challenge I am going to give you a list of ingredients, that is the recipe what comes out from the recipe is your creation.You may not add anything extra to the ingredients only what is on this list or the recipe won’t work.The test this time is you can use no bought embellishments you are going to make them from your pattern paper. What you can use is ink, pen work and paint.

Photo 7” x 5”Small Title using Stickers, 5 different types of ribbon, ric rac, braid, , 1 patterned border strip, 2 different pattern papers suitable for making your embellishments, Rhinestones, 4 journaling strips"
